Alpena Village is a premier senior living community located in Alpena, Michigan adjacent to Alpena Community College. Alpena Village is a reality because of the collaborative efforts of the local Alpena Village Board Members, Lutheran Homes of Michigan and Presbyterian Villages of Michigan. Alpena Village will consist of 80 new condominiums, 48 apartments, a community center, and assisted living and memory care.
Alpena Village offers 48 apartment homes for lease in a two-story building known as The Pines. The Pines will be available for leasing in the summer of 2008. The Pines is a multi-income based community where you may be eligible for price considerations. Residents will choose from one or two bedroom floor plans providing between 650 and 850 square feet of living space.
Alpena Village offers 80 condominium homes for purchase beginning in the fall of 2007. Alpena Village condominiums known as The Cottages offer one, two and three bedroom floor plans providing between 926 and 1692 square feet of living space. Residents at The Cottages will have full access to amenities at the Hearth Lodge while living at choice locations throughout the wooded community. The Cottages will be available in clusters of two, three and four attached homes. The option of adding living space with lofts and all season sunrooms is available on various floor plans. Alpena Village homes are universally designed to provide barrier free access to allow residents to live “At Home…Up North” in their own home for as long as possible.
Basic services included in Alpena Village association fees are those that people value including concierge management providing coordinated services, landscaping, lawn care, snow removal, exterior and common area maintenance, centralized trash collection and removal, road maintenance, and maintained walking paths with one directly to Alpena Community College.
